On the Brescia shore, between Vello (Marone) and Toline (Pisogne), the old lakeside road has become a car-free cycle and footpath. It runs just above the water, through tunnels cut into the rock, with views of Monte Isola and the Bergamo shore.

The route

  • Flat and suitable for everyone, on foot or by bike.
  • Start from Vello or Toline, where there is parking.
  • You can also come by train, to Marone and Pisogne stations.

Good to know

The path may be temporarily closed for works or rockfall risk: check notices on the lake’s tourism website or the councils’ sites before setting off.
